Russell Memorial United Methodist Church is located in Wills Point, Texas about 40 minutes east of Dallas.  We are affiliated with the United Methodist denomination and we hold fast to the traditional teachings of our denomination as expressed in our Book of Discipline and more importantly to the traditional teachings of the Holy Scriptures. With the love and grace of God, we freely welcome all people to worship the Lord with us and to become a part of our faith community.

Our Vision  Our church is like a beacon at an airport.  We are here to shine God’s love and grace to a dark world covered in a fog of hate.  God has called us to brightly shine His love, forgiveness, acceptance, hope, and joy to all people—especially to those who need a “new beginning.”  Our church will brightly shine this message through the fog, signaling to everyone: “Here is the place for a safe landing!”
