Adult Ministries  

We also have several small group ministries for adults at Russell Memorial.  The following groups are active and meet each month.

United Methodist Women (UMW)  This group of women holds a business meeting on the 1^st Sunday of each month at 8:30 a.m.  They eat a light breakfast together and then they discuss business and planning.  They are active in mission, fundraising, Bible study, and various programs of the church.

UMW Sunshine Circle This group of women is a “circle” of the UMW.  They meet every 4^th Wednesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. for Bible study and fellowship.

UMW Evening Bible Circle This group of women is a “circle” of the UMW.  They meet every 4^th Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. for Bible study and fellowship.

United Methodist Men (UMM) This group of men holds a business meeting on the 2^nd Sunday of each month at 8:30 a.m.  They eat a hearty breakfast together and then they discuss business and planning.  They are active in mission, fundraising, work projects, and various programs of the church.

E.C.H.O.E.S. (Effort Can Help Our Egos) This group of seniors gathers together on the 3^rd Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m.  At their meetings they usually eat lunch, study the Bible and fellowship.

Birthday Girls This group of ladies meets every 2^nd Wednesday of the month to celebrate monthly birthdays.  They eat lunch together and sometimes will go shopping together to “make a day of it.”
